Key Responsibilities

The Lead Counselor manages Program staff to provide direct counseling care and education to clients, fostering an environment for effective performance and learning through attitude and teaching willingness. Key duties involve overseeing personnel, intake operations, curriculum compliance, managing the intern program, and providing direct counseling services to beneficiaries.

Requirements

Candidates must possess either a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification or a Bachelor's degree plus three years of substance abuse field experience, along with one year of teaching or presenting rehabilitation material. Additional requirements include a valid driver's license, clean MVR, proficiency in Microsoft Office, being 21 or older, and maintaining continuous sobriety for three years if in recovery.
