The PA-C at PCHC provides comprehensive, patient-centered medical care with a strong focus on Pediatrics with an opportunity of minimal Family Practice, if desired for continuity of care, within a community health center setting.

Key

Responsibilities

Provide primary and preventive care to pediatric patients (birth through adolescence) Perform well-child exams, developmental screenings, and immunizations Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic conditions Deliver family-centered care, education, and anticipatory guidance Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health, dental, and care coordination teams Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care team meetings Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with clinical standards Adhere to all PCHC clinical protocols and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program National certification as a Physician Assistant and Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Pediatrics strongly desired Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Colorado Current BLS/CPR certification Experience in pediatrics, family medicine, or community health preferred Strong commitment to serving underserved populations
