The Clinical Pharmacist Reviewer performs independent clinical and policy reviews of Medicare Part D reconsideration appeals to determine coverage eligibility. They also analyze pharmacy claims and clinical documentation to ensure compliance with CMS regulations and contractual requirements.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree along with an active, unrestricted pharmacist license. A minimum of five years of experience in Medicare Part D operations, appeals, or pharmacy benefit management is required.
