Job Description

Company: Allegheny Health Network Job Description: GENERAL OVERVIEW: Provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory disorders under licensed medical direction. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Administers therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies. (55%) Completes documentation that is required to measure, monitor, and ensure department effectiveness e. g., charting, billing, IPOC, patient/family education. (20%) Performs diagnostic respiratory procedures according to hospital and department policies. (20%) Provides instruction to patients and other members of the healthcare team as needed. (5%) Performs other duties as assigned or required.
