About the Role

Join Community Care of West Virginia Inc as a Family Medicine Physician – PRN, West Virginia in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.

Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' conditions.

Identify normal and abnormal findings in history, physical examination, and commonly performed laboratory studies.

Prescribe medication in accordance with the West Virginia statute and professional practice guidelines.

Requirements

Able to lift 100 pounds, if necessary, to assist fallen patients. Able to lift 10 pounds for routine performance of essential functions.

Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques.

Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment. Education/Training/Experience:

Medical degree in medicine from an accredited school and licensed to practice in West Virginia.

Work Schedule

Per Diem position.
