Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons to manage pre-operative and post-operative care for patients in the surgical step-down unit. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care for heart, aortic, lung, and esophageal surgery patients, as well as heart transplant recipients.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner, a current New York State NP license, and national board certification. A minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse is required, with cardiac or CTICU experience preferred.
