Responsibilities
- As a Physical Therapist Assistant you will be responsible to:
- Provide treatment per the established plan of care and in accordance with physician orders.
- Assist in identifying goals, prioritizing treatment, and selecting appropriate interventions.
- Continuously assess changes in functional deficits and adjust treatment as appropriate.
- Provide education to residents/clients, families, caregivers, and staff.
Collaborate with therapist on observations, progress towards goals, and recommended updates to plan of care and discharge.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation & billing in electronic medical record.
- Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of payer sources and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with therapist on supervisory visits per regulations.
Communicate effectively with residents/clients, families, caregivers, physicians, referral sources, and interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current licensure in the state(s) of practice as required.
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
Pay Range
The estimated starting pay range for this role is $30.24 - $34.57 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
