Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct patient care, monitors behavior, and assists in the implementation of treatment plans within a behavioral health setting. They also ensure a safe environment by conducting safety checks, de-escalating conflicts, and documenting clinical data.
Requirements
Candidates must have 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting and possess strong observation and documentation skills. Required certifications include BCLS and de-escalation training, which must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
