About the Role

Casa Smiles is looking for a passionate and energetic Part-Time Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our fun, kid-friendly team in Hialeah, FL! Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during pediatric dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, and extractions
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patients
• Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed
• Build rapport with young patients to create a calm, positive, and comfortable dental experience
• Document patient records and update charts accurately in dental practice management software
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant clinical environment

Requirements

• Prior dental assisting experience required; pediatric dental experience strongly preferred
• Dental Assistant certification or relevant training preferred
• Radiography (X-ray) certification preferred or ability to obtain
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred for our Hialeah community
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with children of all ages
• Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting
