Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner performs patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment while participating in performance improvement and educational activities. They are responsible for conducting daily rounds, ordering diagnostic tests, and coordinating care with the medical team.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in a Nurse Practitioner program and possess current New York State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Professional Nurse. National Board Certification in the specialty area and current BLS certification are also required.
