Job Requirements
- Board: BC/BE
- Licenses: Licensed in NM
- Certifications: BLS
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide weekend call coverage for Vascular & Interventional Radiology (8a – 8a)
- Cover night call shifts from 5:30p – 9a as needed
- Respond to beeper call within 30 minutes
- Perform day coverage procedures (9a – 5:30pm) on specified dates
- Manage inpatient consults and phone consults (3-5 per shift)
Key Responsibilities
The physician will provide inpatient vascular and interventional radiology coverage, including performing various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities also include managing inpatient consults and responding to beeper calls during nights and weekends.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible and hold a valid medical license in New Mexico. Proficiency in a wide range of interventional procedures and current BLS certification are required.
