Overview

At ProMotion Rehab and Sports Medicine, our vision is to be the regional leader and trusted provider for outpatient rehab services, driven by an unwavering commitment to our team, their families, our patients, our community, and education.

We're a therapist-owned private practice that takes pride in our independence and stands committed to our core values: Fun, Excellence, Education, and Community. We started just down the road in Lake City and have grown to serve the Pee Dee, Midlands, and Upstate regions of South Carolina.

Occupational therapy has a history at our Florence clinic, and we're ready to write its next chapter. Patients here need OT, and very few clinicians are available to provide it. For you, that means a caseload that's ready when you are, and a flexible full-time schedule built around your week.

A Caseload Ready for You

The demand for OT in Florence is strong, and we're looking for a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team of Physical Therapists and give patients the best care we possibly can:

  • 40-minute appointments — every visit gets a full 40 minutes, so you can evaluate, treat, and educate without rushing

Occupational Therapy at Promotion

PT gets patients moving. OT gets them living.

You're the one who helps a patient button a shirt again, cook dinner, hold a grandchild, or return to work. Those are the moments patients remember for the rest of their lives, and right now too few people in Florence can get that care close to home. You'd change that.

You won't be an OT squeezed into a PT clinic. You'll be the specialist our patients and team have been waiting for.

  • Evaluate and treat outpatient patients with upper extremity, hand, neurological, and functional impairments
  • Build individualized plans focused on daily living, independence, and return to work
  • Work alongside our PTs so patients get complete, coordinated care
  • Educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive strategies
  • Bring your specialty — hand, neuro, ortho, or another niche — and build a program around it
  • Represent ProMotion in the Florence community with pride and positivity

Grow with Us: Education & Specialization

Education isn't a perk at ProMotion — it's core to how we practice.

$1,500 Annual CEU Allowance — Part of Your Total Compensation

Your CEU allowance comes on top of your base salary, every year. It's built into your package so you can invest in the expertise that sets you apart.

  • $1,500 every year in addition to your base salary
  • $7,500 over five years invested in your specialty
  • Your choice of focus — put it toward the courses and certification prep that matter to you, such as Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) prep, lymphedema certification (CLT), or neuro and upper extremity coursework
  • Stay licensed with ease — cover the continuing education you need for South Carolina OT license renewal

Support for Specialization: Whether your interest is hand therapy, neuro, upper extremity, or another niche, we invest in helping you build real expertise — not just check a continuing-education box.

Where We're Headed

ProMotion is growing across the Carolinas, and we want you to grow with us. We don’t just want a team member, we want to invest in an individual and empower them to grow and thrive.

As part of our Occupational Therapist team in Florence, you'll help shape how occupational therapy grows at ProMotion. As we expand, the people who build these programs are the ones we look to for leadership and program development.

What We Offer

Time to Recharge

  • 8 paid holidays each year
  • Generous PTO that grows with your experience and tenure
  • A schedule you control — and flexibility when life happens

Invest in Your Growth

  • $1,500 annual CEU allowance
  • Support to build your specialty
  • Opportunities to help grow and lead our OT program

Health & Financial Support

  • Health insurance with 50% of your premium covered by us
  • Dental and vision coverage to round out your care
  • Up to 4% 401(k) match

What We're Looking For

  • Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
  • NBCOT certified; South Carolina OT license (or eligible)
  • New grads welcome!
  • Outpatient or hand therapy experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

Why Promotion?

  • You're in Control — Your hours, your caseload, your pace. The demand is here; you decide how much of it to take on.
  • Practice with Purpose — 40-minute appointments give you the time to treat patients the right way, with individualized care and meaningful outcomes.
  • Make a Real Impact — You'll fill a gap in care that Florence patients feel every day.
  • A Team You'll Actually Enjoy — We foster an energizing, collaborative environment where wins are shared and celebrated.
  • Grow Into the Career You Want — As we expand, real leadership and specialization opportunities open up for the people who grow with us.
