Key Responsibilities

The Hospice Physician Designee will provide clinical oversight for patient care plans and ensure medical appropriateness across multiple locations. They will actively participate in the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) and serve as a medical resource for staff, families, and community providers.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a doctorate in allopathic or osteopathic medicine and possess a current, unrestricted medical license. Board certification in a primary care specialty and hospice/palliative medicine is preferred, along with valid NPI and DEA registration.
