The Radiologic Technologist performs general Imaging exams. Uses Hospital EHR
and PACS software daily. Required to communicate with staff and patients. Some
lifting and moving of patients and or equipment required. Required to work with
a team and as an individual.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Operations
* Performs satisfactory exams.
* Uses two (2) patient identifiers when greeting patients.
* Has knowledge and use of ALARA principles.
* Reconciles images and paperwork in PACS.
* Cleans patient care equipment and surfaces.
* Uses PPE properly.
* Communicates effectively with staff and patients.
* Works with Leads and radiologist to meet department needs.
* Completes QA and QC as needed.
* Stocks supplies and notifies Leads if supplies needed
* Schedules patients and provides preps as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
* ARRT R (within 2 months of hire)
* WA DOH Radiologic Technologist Certification (within 2 months of hire)
* WA DOH X-Ray Technician Registration license until Technologist acquired.
* AHA BLS
Preferred
* CT experience
* Associates degree
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position is primarily worked in a clinical environment. The position will
require the ability to lift, and carry, up to 50 pounds and push or pull over 50
pounds. The position will require bending, twisting, squatting, reaching,
reaching overhead, sitting and standing frequently. Occasionally the position
requires climbing, kneeling and crawling. The position requires continuous
finger dexterity and fine manipulation. All basic life functions such as
hearing, seeing, speaking, standing and walking are required.
The employee must demonstrate the ability to perform the essential functions of
the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
