About Global Clinical

Global Clinical is a multi-disciplinary outpatient provider of behavioral and mental health services, serving kids, families, and adults across Michigan. Our mission is to empower our clients and build the capacity within them to achieve their goals. We operate under a clinician-forward philosophy, where we strive to create a positive and enriching work environment for our team members, limiting burnout, and providing opportunity for scheduling flexibility.

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to support children on the autism spectrum with speech-language services in a center-based setting. You will slot into an already full caseload and help make an impact immediately.

As part of your day-to-day work with children and young adults, you’ll assess communication abilities, provide evidence-based therapy, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and develop individualized treatment plans that help each child build functional communication skills. Your work will help children achieve optimal growth, learning, and participation at home, in school, and in the community.

This is a 1099 position starting at 20-30 hours per week, with an immediate expected caseload of approximately 15-20 children ages K-12.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, pragmatics, and oral motor skills, and create comprehensive reports
  • Provide targeted, evidence-based individual and small-group therapy to facilitate communication, learning, and participation, including social communication and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as appropriate
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals for children on the autism spectrum
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, behavior technicians, occupational therapists, and other professionals to align goals and carry over strategies across the child’s day
  • Consult with and coach families and center staff on strategies to support communication and development
  • Maintain accurate and timely session notes, progress reports, and billing documentation in compliance with payer and agency requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and treatment plan reviews

What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school or university
  • Current Michigan state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellow working toward the CCC with supervision in place
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to work on-site in an active center environment, including floor-based play with children

Preferred: Experience with children on the autism spectrum or other developmental disabilities, familiarity with ABA principles, AAC experience, and Medicaid/insurance documentation experience.

Why Work for Global Clinical?

  • We partner directly with an ASHA-approved CE provider for free, monthly CE credits.
  • We provide guidance, supervision, and support to our whole team and will always advocate for you and your needs
  • Work in a collaborative, team-based setting alongside behavior and therapy professionals
  • Help us build a multidisciplinary, clinician-forward practice.
  • Schedule flexibility and autonomy when it counts!
