Job Description
If you're passionate about women's health and caring for members of underserved local populations, then you could be the part-time Gynecologist we're looking for at Starling Health. This position with our Bronx, NY facility provides outpatient GYN care and educates patients on caring for their health at home.

What We're Offering Our Gynecologist
Competitive part-time compensation of $160.00-190.00 per hour, that reflects your experience and market benchmarks
- Flexible scheduling (1-3 days/week, Monday - Sunday availability)

Your Role
In this part-time position, you'll provide comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care to support women's health and gynecological well-being.
Coordinating with the support team, you'll conduct thorough examinations and well-woman visits and accurately diagnose/manage a range of conditions (PCOS, fibroids, endometriosis, menstrual disorders, menopause-related concerns, etc.).
You'll order diagnostic imaging, interpret lab results, and compassionately consult with patients regarding reproductive health, contraception, and preventative care.
The Gynecologist completes in-office procedures such as colposcopies, IUD insertions/removals, endometrial biopsies, and other gynecologic treatments while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety.
You'll collaborate with a talented multidisciplinary team of radiology, laboratory, and primary care professionals to deliver coordinated care. As you see patients, you'll accurately document your clinical encounters in eClinicalWorks while complying with New York state regulations and facility policies.
What We Need from You
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of Obstetrics & Gynecology residency
- Board certification (or eligibility) in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Current, unrestricted New York State medical license
Current DEA Registration
- Eligibility for credentialing with major commercial and government payers (i. e., Medicaid, Medicare, and CHIP)
- Malpractice insurance
The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish) and experienced with community health or urban/underserved patient populations. Experience with eClinicalWorks (or a similar EMR), Medicaid-heavy payer mix, and/or performing in-office GYN procedures independently is also beneficial.
