Youth Grief Therapist

Key Responsibilities

The therapist will provide ongoing counseling services to adolescents aged 13 to 17 needing grief support in a group setting, including developing treatment plans and conducting individual and group counseling sessions. Key duties involve providing emotional support, implementing appropriate interventions, assisting with crisis intervention, and ensuring culturally competent service delivery.

Requirements

A minimum requirement is a Master’s Degree and a professional license (LCSW/LSWL/LPC/LAC/LMFT/LAMFT) in the state of practice without active sanctions. Candidates must also possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable record and demonstrate the ability to exercise independent thinking, good judgment, and effective time management.
