Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care in a collaborative practice environment
• Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care
• Manage labor and delivery while supporting individualized birth plans and patient preferences.
• Collaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians and other members of the clinical team.
• Provide well-woman and preventive care throughout the stages of a woman's life.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage common conditions within the CNM scope of practice.
• Order and interpret appropriate lab and diagnostic testing and prescribe medications as clinically indicated.
• Educate and counsel patients to support informed decision-making and evidence-based care.

Schedule, Compensation & Benefits

• 2 Clinic days (8 hours per day) and 24 hours of Call; Call: two 12-hour shifts or one 24-hour shift weekly, consisting of both day and night
• $110k to $130k DOE
• Sign-on bonus

Requirements

• Active New Mexico license or willing to obtain
• ACME graduate of a nurse-midwifery accredited program
• AMCB certified
• New Mexico Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) and Federal DEA registration - Required
• 2+ years of experience as a CNM preferred
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification - Required
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered women's healthcare
• Strong communication and collaborative practice skills
