The Rehabilitation Medicine Department is one of the largest and most respected programs in the nation. We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to serve as a clinical leader within our Cardiopulmonary Inpatient area.

  • Minimum 10 CEUs within the last 3 years and
  • Minimum 10 CEUs focused on Cardiopulmonary inpatient care.

Key Responsibilities

The Advanced Clinician will provide expert physical therapy care for complex cardiopulmonary patients and lead the safe, progressive mobilization of critically ill individuals. Additionally, the role involves mentoring staff, assessing clinical competencies, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, a New York State license, and BCLS certification. A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in acute care with a focus on cardiopulmonary populations is required.
