Key Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist evaluates, tests, and treats inpatients while developing and documenting comprehensive therapeutic plans. They also provide patient education, coordinate care with medical staff, and assist in the supervision of rehabilitation support staff.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy and possess or be eligible for a New York State Physical Therapist license. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and turning patients, as well as maintaining current Basic Life Support certification.
