Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct patient care and facilitates a therapeutic milieu under the direction of healthcare professionals. They are responsible for monitoring patient safety, managing disruptive behaviors, and documenting patient care procedures.

Requirements

Candidates must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and demonstrate the ability to work with physically and mentally aggressive patients. Preferred qualifications include a CNA or EMT certification and post-high school education in a health sciences or social services field.
