Key Responsibilities
The pharmacist will perform a wide variety of duties including sterile compounding, medication order review, and patient education while participating in inter-disciplinary care teams. They are also responsible for managing controlled substance inventories, responding to hospital emergencies, and maintaining pharmacy department operations in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a current Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy license. At least two years of licensed pharmacist experience or a one-year residency is required, with hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
