The Triage Nurse provides clinical guidance and symptom management for oncology patients via telephone to minimize emergency department readmissions. They facilitate communication among the multidisciplinary care team and provide individualized education regarding treatments and post-surgery care.
Candidates must hold a Registered Nurse license in Florida or a multistate license, with at least two years of RN experience and one year of oncology experience. An Associate Degree in Nursing is required, while an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is preferred.
