Radiology (X-Ray) Technologist
Location: Inpatient (Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital) and
Outpatient (Various facilities through the Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, King
George and Stafford areas)
Job Type: Full Time, Part Time and PRN
Shift: Various Shifts Available
Relocation Assistance: Offered 50+ Miles from Fredericksburg for Full Time
Sign On Bonus: Offered for Full Time and Part Time
Compensation Pay Range
PRN Flat Rate: $41.00

Requirements
* ARRT registered or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology.
* Completion of accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (or
equivalent).
* VA State Radiologic Technologist License for outpatient facilities ONLY.
* American Heart Association CPR required

Required
Physical Requirements: Constant (67-100% of workday) use of arms and hands;
frequent (34-66% of workday) standing, walking, sitting; occasional (0-33% of
workday) bending and squatting; ability to lift 35 lbs.; ability to push and
pull up to 20 lbs.; auditory and visual skills to include color determination
Mental Requirements: Possesses critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability
to multi-task. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a
multi-disciplinary team. Capacity to cope with difficult situations. Ability to
tolerate irregular hours including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Environmental Requirements and Exposure Hazards: Risk of exposure to radiation
and toxic chemicals. Potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens; must be
able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
For MRI Associates: Must complete MRI Associate screening and be approved to
work in the MRI environment (Zones 3 & 4) at all times.
