Job description

Greater Portland Health is seeking an Optometrist to fill a part-time (20-24 hours) role in providing full-scope optometric eye care in a primary care setting. Responsibilities include clinical and administrative tasks to support our patients' overall care.

Salary will be prorated based on FTE.

Requirements

* Applicants must be a graduate from a Doctor of Optometry degree program accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education.
* They must obtain a license to practice in the State of Maine, including passage of all parts of NBEO board examinations.
* Residency training and knowledge of the structure, function and laws governing community health centers is preferred.
