Job Description

Summary
As a Speech Therapist at PAM Health at Home, you will play a vital role in enhancing the communication and swallowing abilities of our patients. This position is essential in delivering personalized therapy that aligns with our mission to provide high-quality care tailored to individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies and techniques.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech therapy.
- Experience with early intervention strategies is preferred but not required.
- Ability to assess patient needs effectively and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on improving quality of life.
