Summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech and language abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech therapy.
• Experience with early intervention strategies is preferred but not required.
• Ability to assess patient needs effectively and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on improving quality of life.
