Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will examine patients, perform comprehensive physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and perform therapeutic procedures like injections and wound care for ESI level 2 and 3 patients. A significant part of the role involves developing patient management plans, instructing patients, and functioning as a mentor and preceptor for other Advanced Practice Professionals over 50% of the time.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of accredited nursing and masters of nursing programs, meeting state requirements for Nurse Practitioner duties in Wisconsin or Illinois, and hold valid RN and APNP licenses.
