About the Role

Join Save the Children International as a Psychologist – Alexandria, 4-Day Week, Refugee Program in United States. TITLE: Psychologist TEAM/PROGRAMME: Refugees and Migrants Programme LOCATION: Alexandria GRADE: 5 POST TYPE: Fixed term. Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the project officer to develop and implement the project work plan and activities.
  • To work closely with the MHPSS technical advisor and other MHPSS team on the contextualization of MHPSSPSS materials to different refugee languages and cultures.
  • Organize and maintain project files; maintain electronic and paper records; In case of Emergency: · Promote children's rights, contributing to their well
  • Holds self accountable for making decisions, managing resources efficiently, achieving and role modelling Save the Children values.

Requirements

  • A university degree in psychology.
  • 3 years of experience in family and/or child individual and group counselling, experience in working with migrants and refugees is an asset.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including team
  • leading and influencing.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time position.
  • Night or evening shifts may be required.
