MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Texas. Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
- Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation and advanced airway management
- Administer aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and breathing treatments
- Perform diagnostic tests including pulmonary function tests, ABG analysis, and EKGs
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to develop and adjust patient care plans
- Respond to emergency codes and provide critical care respiratory support
- Accurately document all patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the EMR system
Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience preferred
- Proficiency in mechanical ventilation, ABG interpretation, and critical care protocols
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills in fast-paced environments
- Experience with EMR/EHR documentation systems
