Job description

Performs M. R. I. examinations under the supervision of a radiologist utilizing a
sophisticated magnetic imaging scanner to aid in diagnosis of patient
conditions.  Daily exposure to high static magnetic field.

Required Qualifications

* Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or Allied Health or equivalent
training through an ARRT recognized program or credentialing body.
* Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance
Imaging or
* Within 1 year of hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American
Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists or
* Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography -
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
* Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

* 1 year Postgraduate experience in the field of Medical Imaging Technology.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this
position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this
position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other
applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional
compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials,
standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus
opportunities.

Requirements

Requires an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or Allied Health and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Must obtain MRI technologist registration or radiography certification within one year of employment.
