Provisional Art Therapist

Key Responsibilities

The Provisional Art Therapist develops and implements evidence-based art therapy care plans to address the emotional and psychological needs of pediatric patients. They conduct psychosocial assessments and track patient progress to adjust treatment goals in an acute or outpatient hospital setting.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in art therapy and obtain the ATR-PBC credential within six months of hire. A supervised practicum or internship of at least 700 hours is required, with preference given to those with healthcare experience.
