Waukee Medical Park is located at the southeast corner of Grand Prairie Parkway and Southeast Tallgrass Lane in Waukee. This facility is designed to provide patients a variety of medical services under one roof, bringing all-encompassing care to Waukee and surrounding communities. Waukee Medical Park is home to several UnityPoint health services, all in on location.

Multispecialty team of breast, colorectol, endocrinology, cardiology, family medicine, palliative care, pulmonology, plastic surgery, and radiology

• Continue growth withour expanding services
• Practice is based at Waukee Medical Park.
• Provides care for disorders and diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus.

Support patient access, program growth, operative capacity, outreach development, and shared call coverage. Fully integrated health system with clinics and hospitals utilizing Epic EMR to streamline workflows and improve

Responsibilities

• Two full-time physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers
• Mixture of clinic, Hospital based and ASC partners
• Monday- Friday Clinic 8:00 AM -4:30 PM
• Call coverage 1:3 once fully staffed
• 5 Exam rooms, and 1 treatment room

Clinic-based procedures may include anoscopy, anorectal exam/procedures, hemorrhoid evaluation/treatment, incision and drainage of abscesses, wound, evaluation/care, post-operative checks, seton/wound checks, and other minor office-based colorectal procedures as appropriate

Treat anal cancer, anal condyloma, benign anorectal disease, diverticulitis, and surgical managment of inflammatory bowel (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis)

• Robust operational support and resources in collaborating work environment
• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and thecommunity

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Colorectal surgery
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
• J-1 waiver sponsorship available
