Mental Health Therapist (LIP)

Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Independent Practitioner Therapist provides person-centered, trauma-informed therapy for individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders, involving assessments, treatment planning, and facilitating individual, group, and family counseling sessions. Key duties include maintaining accurate documentation compliant with Missouri DMH standards and coordinating care with external stakeholders.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a behavioral health field and hold an unrestricted license in Missouri to practice independently. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with substance use disorders is required, along with passing a background check and drug screening.
