Assess, diagnose and treat patients with mental health conditions, including providing therapy, prescribing medications and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities
- Review patient history, conduct mental status exams and utilize diagnostic tools.
- Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and diagnoses.
- Implement evidence-based therapies and interventions, including medication management.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP).
- Experience in mental health settings.
- Knowledge of mental health disorders, psychopharmacology, and therapeutic interventions.
- Strong interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills.
