Job description

Join Contentnea Health as a Dental Hygienist in Snow Hill, North Carolina. Company Overview Contentnea Health is a Community Health Center providing comprehensive medical, dental and behavioral health services for members of our communities in Greene, Pitt and Pamlico counties in eastern North Carolina. Job Summary Provides dental hygiene services to patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides preventative dental care to patients in consultation with dentist.
  • Performs dental prophylaxis and/or scaling and root planing.
  • Performs periodontal probing.
  • Performs fluoride treatment and applies dental sealants as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene. Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Dental Examiners. Current Basic.
  • Life Support (BLS) certification.
