We are tasked with staffing the San Juan VA Medical Center (SJVAMC) with an Onsite Cardiothoracic Physician Surgeons (2FTEs).

Key Responsibilities
The Cardiothoracic Physician will conduct initial patient evaluations across inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department settings, and perform various surgical procedures and post-operative care in the Operating Room. Responsibilities include handling specific procedures like Permanent Pacemaker Implants and acting as backup for Interventional Cardiology cases.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any US State, Territory, or Commonwealth, and must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Additionally, current certification in BLS and ACLS, or equivalent experience of at least 5 years, is required.
