Physician - Flight Surgeon

Key Responsibilities

The Flight Surgeon will provide comprehensive medical care, including preventive and occupational health services, to military members and their families at the Flight Operational Medicine Clinic. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, managing patient panels, conducting aeromedical evaluations, and providing clinical supervision to medical staff.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree with successful completion of an accredited internship and residency program. Applicants are required to have at least three years of experience as a privileged flight surgeon at a US military installation and possess current board certification in Aerospace Medicine.
