Key Responsibilities
The Director of Nursing provides strategic and operational leadership for inpatient nursing services while partnering with the Chief Nursing Officer to execute organizational goals. This role oversees daily nursing operations, manages departmental budgets, and leads quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration, along with a valid DC RN license. A minimum of 5–7 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting is required.
