Key Responsibilities

The pharmacist oversees pharmaceutical care by retrieving and evaluating literature to design medication therapy regimens and provides counseling to patients and caregivers on medication use and adverse effects. Responsibilities also include reviewing orders, participating in medical emergencies, supporting medication safety initiatives, and collaborating with the healthcare team on formulary adherence.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school or an FPGEC certificate, with no prior experience required. Licensure in the state of practice, immunization/injectable certification, and credentialing based on practice area are mandatory.
