Key Responsibilities
Administers prescribed ionizing radiation therapy to patients while ensuring safety protocols and accurate documentation are followed. Prepares treatment equipment and monitors patients for any adverse reactions or complications during the course of treatment.
Requirements
Requires certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A Bachelor's degree in radiological technology or equivalent is preferred.
