Child Psychiatrist - Child and Family Outpatient Services
Hiring Range: $267,051.20 to $373,880.00
Summary of Job Responsibilities
Child and Family Outpatient Services (CFOS) offers a wide range of supportive
care to individuals, children, and families with behavioral health needs. Our
clinic primarily serves youth between the ages of 3 and 21 years and their
families. We provide individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and couples
therapy based on customer needs and clinical skill set. Our Psychiatrists are a
part of a multidisciplinary team working with providers within our program and
throughout our system of care.
Qualifications
1. Licensed as a Physician in the State of Alaska.
2. Current American Board certification specialty appropriate for the service.
(Child and Adolescent Psychiatry)
3. Meets all requirements in order to obtain associate medical staff membership
and required privileges of service.
4. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO
and PALS as required for specialty and any certification relating to the
scope of practice as required.

New employees must complete all required health screenings and immunizations
before their first day of work. Current employees must complete any additional
screenings or immunizations that become necessary due to workplace conditions,
public health concerns, or newly available vaccines that help protect coworkers
and the community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive behavioral health care including individual, group, and couples therapy to youth aged 3 to 21. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver supportive care within the system.
