Key Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant will provide non-operative medical care to cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery patients in inpatient and emergency settings. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing therapies, and collaborating with physicians to implement treatment plans.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program and hold a current Texas license. Certification by the NCCPA and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
