Job description
Join WellSpan Health as a Behavioral Health Technician – Inpatient, Evening/Night in York, Pennsylvania, United States. Full-time, Evening/Night 72 hrs/2 weeks 7pm-7am Includes every third weekend & rotating holidays General Summary Assists the professional staff in the care of psychiatric patients. Facilitates the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit.

Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Technician assists professional staff in providing direct care to psychiatric patients and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, charting patient observations, and assisting with activities of daily living.
Requirements
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and a Basic Life Support certification upon hire. A Certified Nursing Assistant certificate or some college-level social science coursework is required.
