Key Responsibilities
Provides pediatric dental hygiene care, including plaque removal, x-rays, and preventive education for patients up to 21 years old. Assists dentists and orthodontists with clinical procedures and maintains dental equipment and sterilization standards.
Requirements
Requires a Georgia Board of Dentistry dental hygienist license and graduation from an accredited dental hygienist program. Candidates must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
