Behavioral Health Consultants will meet biweekly with participants over four months for 30 minutes to address internal barriers to Physical Activity, using personal values as motivation for behavior change and practicing strategies to overcome obstacles. Consultants will also meet weekly with study investigators to review participant progress and must adhere to a manualized guide for all sessions.
Candidates must follow a manualized guide to deliver a physical activity intervention focused on increasing daily steps for individuals over 50 living with HIV infection.
