Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®), ABC Academy

We're a responsive employer. Expect to hear from us within 2-3 business days of applying, so keep an eye on your phone and email for interview scheduling.

At Action Behavior Centers (ABC), we help autistic children build communication, social, and daily living skills through evidence-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy. As a BCBA at ABC Academy, you’ll help school-age children build the skills they need for the classroom. You’ll partner with families and educators to support each child’s move into school.

Why ABC?

  • Our children and families: We keep caseloads small and center our work on compassionate care in ABA.
  • Our culture: Our Core Values of Caring, Excellence, Team, Learning, and Fun guide how we work every day.
  • Our community: We stay grounded in our why, which is the difference we make in the lives of children, families, and teammates.

About ABC Academy

  • Who it serves: ABC Academy serves children ages 5 to 12, with a focus on school readiness and social skills.
  • The clinical model: It’s designed to support children as they transition from early intensive behavioral intervention (EIBI) into school.
  • Individualized goals: BCBAs set individualized goals in collaboration with families after a thorough assessment of each child’s needs.
  • School collaboration: You’ll work with educators on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), help children generalize skills to the classroom, and prepare them for success at school.

The Role at a Glance

  • Position: Full-time, permanent
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 a. m.–6:30 p. m., plus rotating Saturdays from 9:00 a. m. to noon based on family attendance
  • Total compensation: $86,500 to $122,000 per year, with more earning potential based on center size, mentoring Registered Behavior Technicians® (RBTs®), and supervising assigned trainees
  • Caseload: An average of five to six children, with a maximum of eight

Why Bcbas Choose ABC

Compensation & Bonuses

  • Total compensation package: Your pay combines a competitive base salary, performance bonuses, mentorship bonuses, and long-term ownership in the company.
  • Monthly performance bonuses: Bonuses are uncapped and start at 26 hours of treatment delivery per week, so you won’t wait months to qualify.
  • Mentorship bonuses: Earn bonus pay for providing supervision hours to RBTs pursuing a master’s degree in behavior analysis.
  • Certification bonuses: Get rewarded for each teammate who earns certification under your supervision.
  • Relocation packages: Get financial support to make your move easier.
  • 401(k) with company match: Start investing in your future right away with help from ABC’s company match.

Schedule & Work-Life Balance

  • Remote work: Work from home up to three days per month, based on performance and center needs, plus up to 16 additional assessment-related days per year.
  • 29 days off in your first year: Your time off includes holidays, paid time off (PTO), continuing education unit (CEU) days, and flex days. Guilt-free rest is encouraged!
  • Manageable caseloads: An average of five to six children, with a maximum of eight, so you’re set up to succeed without burning out.
  • No non-compete agreements: If you leave ABC, you’re free to take your next role wherever you choose.

Career Growth & Clinical Leadership

  • Career growth: Follow a clear path from BCBA to Senior BCBA, Assistant Clinical Director, Clinical Director, Senior Clinical Director, Group Clinical Director, and Regional Clinical Director.
