The therapist evaluates, plans, and implements respiratory therapy interventions to facilitate optimal cardiopulmonary function for patients. They also collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide patient education and supervise clinical staff and students.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited respiratory care program and hold a valid Connecticut state license. A BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is also required for this position.
