Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatry Inpatient PMHNP

Key Responsibilities

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose, and manage patients across a wide range of psychiatric conditions primarily in acute inpatient settings. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, managing psychopharmacology, providing follow-up care, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program, including completion of a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program, and hold or be eligible for active Maryland RN and PMHNP licensure. Preferred experience includes work in acute psychiatric care, inpatient behavioral health, and medication management, alongside strong clinical competence and collaboration skills.
