Job Description
THE HAWAII PERMANENTE MEDICAL GROUP, INC. IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED PHYSICIAN
ASSISTANT FOR WOUND CARE AT KAISER PERMANENTE CLINIC IN MAUI.
Position Highlights
- Comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with acute and chronic wound in an innovative and fully integrated health system
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of wound conditions, with a focus on optimizing healing outcomes, preventing complications, and enhancing patient quality of life
- Practice quality medicine without pre-authorizations
- High degree of collaboration with physicians, staff, and interdisciplinary team members
- AI documentation available
- State of the art EMR (EPIC) supports integration with all providers
Position Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PA program
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred
- NCCPA & BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of post-training experience in wound care, surgery, or related field preferred
- Outpatient wound care experience preferred
- Experience with advanced wound therapies and chronic disease management preferred
