Key Responsibilities

The Consultant Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing resident medication regimens, preparing quality assurance reports, and ensuring compliance with CMS regulations. They also act as a liaison between the pharmacy and nursing facilities while providing clinical education to staff and residents.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a B.S. Pharm. or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited school and possess a current pharmacy license in the state of practice. The role requires the ability to travel throughout a designated territory, including overnight stays as needed.
